choices (so many)

so now it comes to tiling my own shower room, and it’s not as easy as you would think.  Because I have total freedom.  And a critical designer eye!  And it’s easy, isn’t it (far too easy) to be critical of your own work where you would enthuse over that of others.  And even easier to feel about celebrating your own work.

It’s a humble shower room, but it’s mine to enjoy.  And as I make these tiles because I love them, I’m of a mind to go for a combination of these 3 – Bubble, Fatima and Antimacassar.  It’ll take me an age, probably, to work on the final design but it really doesn’t matter.  And if I take it slowly and comfortably, I have a feeling I will really love the end result.  And take a quiet pride in it.  Happy days.

Mud hut musings…

Our tile designs are often inspired by multi-faith symbols, like our ‘Fatima’ tiles.  There’s an underlying ethos to our work which I’m trying to capture and extend to other mud hut company ventures. Here’s a question: Do you have a belief in prayer? And if so, how do you think it operates? If anyone has any anecdotes on prayer, please share! Thanks

we’re ready when you are…

It’s February.  The snowdrops are up.  We’re rejuvinated and ready for action.  So if you’re thinking about a gorgeous, unique panel of fabulous mud hut company ceramic tiles now is the time to give us a call.  We look forward to hearing from you.
